Web15 jan. 2015 · With the car OFF and sunroof OPEN inspect all around the sunroof's frame. If nothing found that might be in the way (rocks, twigs, etc.), turn on the car CLOSE the sunroof and see if you can push it UP while closing to 'help it'. If your sunroof frame is rusted, you will need a new sunroof frame. This is alot of $ to replace. It fixed my leak. Dealer gave me 1/2 off the repair (goodwill), still came to over $1600.00! Web10 sep. 2014 · While you're manually cranking it shut - have a helper apply suggestive force - forward , and then forward & upward on the last section - to aid its movement.
