This isn't necessarily awful, but it is running my temps ~18°C higher than idle should be (mid 50s vs high 30s). Checked power options, all is as it should be. CPU utilization is around 2% at idle.

Web27 de jul. de 2010 · From my understanding on what I have read the maximum frequency is a power saving thing, meaning that the computer will scale down the CPU should it not be required to run at 100% it will send a lower voltage to the CPU so it wont run at full capacity.
