Dec 17, 2024 · WebThe Collegiate Church of Our Lady and St Anne was founded by James Houston in 1525. In 1628, a tower was added to it. The church burned down in 1793, only the tower remained. In 1794 the present church was built on a new plan, separated from the tower. The church was purchased in 1980 and then completely renovated by the Glasgow Theater Club.
