WebI turns out I don't need to have both FNIS and Nemesis installed, the empty FNIS esp file that Nemesis generates is enough (and I couldn't find it before because the FNIS base file overwrote it). The only thing to keep in mind is that when you add new animations, delete the empty FNIS esp before you update and run NEMESIS so it creates a new one.
